Narration and memory are among the themes that emerged from the research of nine artists selected for the fourth edition of PANORAMICA*.
The need to fix a memory, a thought, or to re-perform the past represents for the authors an intimate moment of dialogue and sometimes a soliloquy suspended between real contingency and the amniotic unconscious that blurs the boundaries between reality and mental space, between the analogue and digital world, between the visual and the performative.

PANORAMICA* is a project curated by Alessandra Arnò, dedicated to the research and valorization of video art in Italy through the collection on national call of the most original and significant video artworks created during the year. The selection aims to investigate the production of the territory, provide a current look at ongoing research, and share it with the public through exhibitions and screenings in the national and international circuits, as well as through Italian videographic research.
