Tortures #1#2#3, 10′ – 2001
Synopsis Video
Tortures is a reflection on torture and manifests itself in three different forms. In the first video are unable to speak and see, with limitation of freedom in which a person is to be reduced to a faceless, without identity. In the second video I put instead a reflection on the discourse of the area by drawing a rectangle with his foot on the sand from which they are inevitably driven. The characteristic of this method is that of a “no recall” of resistance to assert themselves, their identity, to defend its own physical space, mental space of expression, although this situation of conflict.
Sabrina Muzi is a courtesy of “VisualContainer” non-profit cultural association, for distribution of video art in Italy and abroad.
What is Private Flat?
Private Flat is a three-day contemporary art held in Florence every year. The event involves curators, artists and citizens who have their own homes and work spaces to accommodate the different exposures. This gave him the title. Each exhibition is located in a different part of town, going to create a real network of public open houses to contemporary art.
